The Itria Valley, located between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, is an enchanted land known for its suggestive landscapes and fairy-tale villages. Here, among the narrow and winding streets, you can admire the trulli, the ancient stone buildings with cone-shaped roofs, which give a magical and unique atmosphere. Some of the most picturesque villages in the Itria Valley include Alberobello, famous for its incredible heritage of trulli, and Locorotondo, with its charming white streets and breathtaking views.
Salento, on the other hand, is a land of contrasts, where the crystal-clear sea of the Adriatic meets the golden beaches of the Ionian. This region is renowned for its breathtaking beaches, crystal-clear waters, and its history with a thousand faces. Gallipoli, Otranto, and Santa Maria di Leuca are just some of the must-see destinations in Salento, where you can immerse yourself in local traditions, taste Puglian cuisine, and enjoy spectacular sunsets over the sea.
Our journey today tells of two precious destinations: Francavilla Fontana and Leverano, two hidden gems of Puglia, immersed in nature and surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. These locations offer an authentic and tranquil atmosphere, away from the crowds and mass tourism. Here you can discover the true essence of Puglia, strolling through picturesque alleys, savouring local products, and enjoying the peace and serenity of a unique place from which you can easily visit the main attractions of the region.
BIANCAPETRA TRULLI: A JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY AND TRADITION

History, tradition, and Puglian authenticity: seventy years later, Giuseppe – after careful and precious renovation – opens the doors of his trullo again.
On the guests’ table, today as then, tradition dictates that the orecchiette served (traditional Puglian pasta) are handmade one by one, that there are plenty of cherry tomatoes and cacioricotta cheese, that the bread is from the local bakery and that summer has the unmistakable light of the Puglian sun.
The natural oasis of Torre Guaceto, as well as the enchanting Ionian beaches, are no more than half an hour’s drive away.

MASSERIA SAMALI: IMMERSED IN NATURE
Leverano, the heart of Puglia; where fertile lands and the warm and golden embrace of the Mediterranean favour viticulture, creating one of the most precious wines of the region: Primitivo di Manduria.
We are at Masseria Samali, an ancient farmhouse immersed in an agricultural estate, halfway between the east and west of Puglia, where, in the collective imagination, Salento begins.
The central nucleus dates back to 1500: Masseria Samali has been expertly renovated, respecting the original charm and characteristic style. The villa is surrounded everywhere by a flat, verdant, private grounds of over 6000 square meters. Here, guests can relax and enjoy a picnic, pure slow living, thanks to the typical products of the agricultural estate.
